Questions, answered clearly
What customers and hauliers need to know.
No driverless claims, no guaranteed work and no promise of the cheapest rate. Just a clearer desk between genuine demand and professional capacity.
Does Haulier.AI replace hauliers or drivers?
No. Haulier.AI supports the desk work: capturing requests, finding suitable capacity, requesting quotes and keeping communication organised. Professional hauliers and drivers carry out the transport.
Do subcontractors have to accept work?
No. Hauliers choose whether to quote and whether to accept any movement offered. There is no obligation to take work that does not fit.
Who sets the haulage rate?
Subcontractors submit the rate they are prepared to complete the movement for. Haulier.AI does not run a race-to-the-bottom auction or force operators into underpaid work.
How can customers save money?
The aim is to reduce wasted admin, improve matching and reach a wider pool of suitable capacity. Better efficiency and clearer options can reduce cost without lowering transport standards.
Which areas does Haulier.AI cover?
Haulier.AI covers UK haulage and transportation across general, container and suitable specialist movements, subject to the job requirements and available operator capability. Dedicated container coverage includes the main UK port and inland areas.
Is Haulier.AI suitable for smaller hauliers?
Yes. Small and mid-sized transport operators can register their coverage and receive relevant opportunities. The job, timing and rate still need to suit the operator.
